In response to the letter we received from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, dated 13/11/2007, regarding the article that was published in the issue of 13/11/2007 of the newspaper "IMERISIA", Elmec Sport S.A. would hereby like to inform the shareholders and the Hellenic Capital Market about the following:
a)On the context of the company's strategy, the management of the company Attica Department Stores S.A. is elaborating on various business plans including the option of the company's listing to the Athens Stock Exchange. The above mentioned business plans are being evaluated at a preliminary stage, and they are not binding to the company.
b) It is hereby clarified that regarding North Landmark company, and not Landmark, as it is falsely stated on the said article, the notarial action of constitution of the company remains to be concluded. Elmec Sport is willing to participate in the share capital of the company by 35% and there has been no relevant decision taken on what concerns the company's merge with Attica Department Stores S.A.
