According to decision No 3/347/12.07.05 of the BoD of the Capital Market Committee, Emporiki Bank of Greece S.A. announces that its Board of Directors, at its meeting of October 24, 2007, elected, in replacement of the resigned Non-Executive Member of the BoD Mr. Panagiotis Tsakos son of Nikolaos, as a new Non-Executive Member of the BoD Mr. Charalampos David son of George, Entrepreneur, for the remaining term of the member who resigned, expiring on the day, that the initial or after postponement Ordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of the year 2011 will be held.
