The Board of Directors of Emporiki Bank, during its meeting held today, elected Mr. Charalampos G. David as a non executive member, replacing the resigned member Mr. Panagiotis Tsakos.
Mr. Charalampos G. David is the Chairman of Frigoglass S.A., Plias S.A., Vice-Chairman of Katselis S.A. and BoD member of Ideal Group, Nigerian Bottling Company P.L.C., A.G. Leventis P.L.C., Cummins West Africa Ltd and Vectis Capital. He is also a member of the General Council of the Hellenic Industries Federation. Mr. David has also served on the boards of the Hellenic Public Power Corporation, Alpha Finance and Lanitis Development Limited. He is also an executive member of the International Directors Council of the Guggenheim Museum, New York.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Jean Frιdιric de Leusse and the Managing Director of Emporiki Bank Mr. Anthony Crontiras welcomed Mr. David and wished him all success in his new duties. They also expressly thanked Mr. P. Tsakos on behalf of the BoD, for his contribution to date to Emporiki Bank.
