Piraeus Port Authority S.A. in accordance with the article 27, par.3 of the Law 3556/2007, announces the notification received on 28.9.2007 from Lansdowne Partners Limited, as following:
- Corporate name of person subject to the notification obligation: Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership.
- Corporate name of shareholders: Lansdowne European Equity Fund Limited, Lansdowne European Long Only Fund Limited, Lansdowne European Long Only Fund LP, Lansdowne European Strategic Equity Fund LP και Managed Account R.
- Number of indirect voting rights: 2.417.636.
- Percentage of indirect voting rights: 9,67%.
- Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership, notifies that is the investment manager of and entitled to exercise on a discretionary basis the voting rights attached to the 2,417,636 shares in Piraeus Port Authority S.A held by the following funds: Lansdowne European Equity Fund Limited, Lansdowne European Long Only Fund Limited, Lansdowne European Long Only Fund LP, Lansdowne European Strategic Equity Fund LP and Managed Account R. None of these funds holds more than 5% of the voting rights in Piraeus Port Authority S.A. Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership will not cease to exercise the above voting rights in Piraeus Port Authority S.A. unless the relevant contractual arrangements between it and the aforementioned funds are terminated.
- The notification is being made pursuant to paragraph 2 of Article 27 of Greek Law 3556/2007 based on Article 10, case (h) of the E.U. Directive 2004/109/EC, as well as on the corresponding provision of Article 10 of Greek Law 3556/2007 and is signed by Lansdowne Partners Limited in its capacity as the general partner and authorized representative of Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership. Lansdowne Partners Limited does not "control" (within the meaning of Greek Law 3556/2007) Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership.
The present notification is announced in accordance with article 21 of Law 3556/2007 and is accessible in the Company's website address www.olp.gr.
