1st Half 2007 financials show a high positive change, depicted on Group as well as on NIREUS S.A. financial results.
On a Group level:
- Revenues rose by 33,63% to 104,54 mil. euro (versus 78,22 mil. euro in the 1st Half of 2006).
- EBIDTA reached 20,87 mil. euro (versus 14,39 mil. euro for last year's 1st Half) recording an increase by 44,94%.
- Pre Tax Profits (EBT) increased to 12,06 mil. euro (recording a positive change of 43,56%, from 8,4 mil. euro in the 1st Half of 2006).
- After Tax Profits (EAT) rose significantly by 64,71% reaching 8,57 mil. euro for 1st Half 2007, versus 5,2 mil. euro for last year's same period. Finally,
- After Tax and Minority Profits reached 5,32 mil. euro (from 4,91 mil. euro. for last year's 1st Half), recording an increase by 8,32 %. This formation of the After Tax and Minority Profits, is related to the fact that the merging plans of companies in which NIREUS S.A. recently participated, have not been completed yet.
It is worth noting that all above figures and their positive changes have been achieved under conditions of price pressure on the Mediterranean fish sold in the European markets.
- On a Company level:
- Revenues reached 88,30 mil. euro, marking a rise by 18,11% (versus 74,76 mil. euro for 1st Half 2006).
- EBIDTA rose by 23,11% reaching 13,61 mil. euro versus 11,05 mil. euro for last year's 1st Half.
- Pre Tax Profits (EBT) reached 7,98 mil. euro (versus 7,03 mil. euro for last year's 1st Half) marking a rise by 13,48%. Finally,
- After Tax Profits (EAT), reached 5,61 mil. euro (+4,93%), while for last year's 1st Half, it was 5,35 mil. euro.
