The uncontrollable fires that hit Evia County as well as other territories in Greece resulted to the destruction of the hatchery unit of LEMOND company, which was producing juveniles on behalf of NIREUS S.A.. The damage is estimated at around 1,5 mil. euro. However, the NIREUS management is already examining the possibilities for compensation through the government measures that were announced as well as alternative solutions to regain the production capacity.
