Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces, in accordance to Law 3556/2007, Decision 1/424/3.7.2007 and Circular 33 of Hellenic Capital Market Commission, that on 22/10/2007 Marfin Investment Group Holdings SA, closely associated with the Managers of the Bank, Messrs Andreas Vgenopoulos, Group Chief Executive Officer, and Fotios Karatzenis, Head of the Legal Department, proceeded with the purchase of 220.000 shares of Marfin Popular Bank of total value euros 2.238.000.
