Axon Holdings S.A., pursuant to article 2 of Decision 5/204/2000 of the Capital Market Committee and paragraph 1(d) of article 6 of Hellenic Law 3340/2005 and in response to recent articles published in the electronic press, would like to hereby announce the following:
The Group's companies, Axon Holdings and Euromedica, shall, indeed, take part in the conference for institutional investors "Annual Pan European Small/Mid Cap Conference" that shall be organised by Citigroup between 15 and 19 October 2007 in London.
In addition, the Company's Management, as expected from a holdings company, is continuously examining new investment opportunities with the purpose of further expanding the Company. Axon Holdings S.A., is presently, among other things, examining the possibility of expanding its activities into the real estate sector where the Group has considerable experience. Within this framework, the Company has approached and has held discussions with foreign investors with regard to the possibility of developing an investment fund of an amount of 100 million Euros that shall invested in real estate. Given, however, that an agreement has not yet been reached, Axon Holdings S.A. is hesitant to relatively inform the competent Authorities and investors until negotiations are concluded.
Apart from the real estate sector, Axon Holdings S.A. is constantly examining the possibility of expanding its activities into other sectors. Depending on the conclusion of these discussions, Axon Holdings S.A. shall inform the Authorities pursuant to the legislation in force.
Concurrently, in an effort to expand its activities, Axon Holdings S.A. is alternatively examining various financing scenarios through both own funds and loans. The Management of Axon Holdings S.A. has not, however, reached any final decision with regard to this matter.
