On Thursday October 4th 2007, at 20:55 a.m. a fire broke out in one of the six warehouses of the company in Goritsa in Aspropirgos Attica, surfacing 3.500 sq.m. On this site the office supplies, except for the copying paper, were stored.
The fire expanded rapidly, having as a consequence the complete destruction of the warehouse. Fortunately, there was not the slightest injury and thanks to the effective intervention of the fire brigade the fire did not expand to the adjacent buildings.
The building as well as the inventories and the equipment were insured to the 100% of their value by a combination of insurance companies (ATE Insurance 40% - Phoenix Metrolife Commercial 25% - Interamerican 20% - ALPHA Insurance 10% - INTERSALONICA 5%).
The operation of the stores, the business to business department and the www.plaisio.gr store will proceed as always. More specifically, in the IT, telephony and digital products, there is no problem.
From the same night, the people of Plaisio are devoted to the immediate restoration of the shortages that came about in the office products, while there is a special team for the immediate service of the needs of our customers.
