COSMOTE announces that on November 9th, 2007 the Albanian Competition Authority fined its Albanian subsidiary AMC for alleged violations of competition law during the period 2004-2005. The fine imposed on AMC is approximately 1.7 million Euro.
AMC considers the decision of the Authority unfounded and unjustified and will take all necessary legal measures to protect its legitimate interests.
The amount of the fine is not expected to affect materially the company's financial standing.
