A 225.000 euros project for SingularLogic Integrator - additional success in the area of Local Government project implementation.
Following the completion of a tender for the implementation of the project concerning the "Creation of a Government Portal for the Provision of Electronic Services," SingularLogic Integrator, member of the SingularLogic group, signed an agreement of a total budget amounting to 225,155 euros (including VAT), on behalf of the Municipality of Ampelokipi, Thessalonica.
The project is added to a long list of local government projects that the company has implement over the last few years, further strengthening an already successful presence in that market sector As part of the project, SingularLogic Integrator will undertake the development of the Municipal Portal, the supply of all necessary equipment for its development as well as the provision of related services.
This project, expected to be completed by April 2008, will contribute to Municipality's cost savings (by means of improved efficiency) through the provision of improved services. Upon the completion of this project, certain Municipality operations with the public shall become faster and less complicated. Furthermore, a reduction in the personnel needed to serve the public will lead to the redistribution of the Municipality's resources and the utilisation of its personnel in other critical operations. Furthermore, the project will give added value to the Municipality's Citizens Service Centre (KEP), thus further enhancing its role and effectiveness.
More specifically, the project aims to:
-Provide faster and more efficient information to the Municipality's citizens and other interested parties, regarding cultural, sporting or other activities taking place within the Municipality and the surrounding areas.
-Provide information via the Internet to citizens and other parties, regarding the services of the Contracting Authority.
-Record, classify and consolidate important information regarding matters of the Contracting Authority and create a central point of access to this information.
-Promote and enhance the image of the greater area of the Contracting Authority. Assist the wider promotion of the Contracting Authority's achievements and distinctive features
-Help familiarize Citizens with new technologies.
-Improve the relations between the Municipality and its citizens and create a modern channel of communication.
-Help increase citizen participation in Municipality issues.
-Contribute in time and resource savings both for the Contracting Authority personnel and for Citizens using the Municipal Portal services.
-Help provide better services to disabled individuals and immigrants.
