NOMOS Legal Information Database of Intracom IT Services has been significantly upgraded with new functions and capabilities
NOMOS Legal Information Database of Intracom IT Services, the leading provider of IT services in Greece, has recently made an important upgrade to its IT infrastructure, by installing new faster servers and new software based on php, with an aim to provide services of the highest quality to its users. Due to the upgrade, the database now offers more capabilities, advanced search engine for better results and a broad spectrum of new functions that are focused on user friendliness, quality and adequacy of the information.
NOMOS is an innovative and all-inclusive subscription service of valid, reliable and prompt legal information, daily enriched and updated with the new body of laws and courts' decisions. In the Case Law section, it provides all the important jurisprudence of all Courts since 1990, legal articles since 1980, interpretative jurisprudence of statutes, as well as the rulings of the Legal Council of State. In the Legislation section it includes in full text all the Laws, Operative Decrees and Ministerial Resolutions that have been published in the official Government Gazette, as well as the Collective Labour Bargains, International treaties and inter-state agreements that have been ratified by Greece. The Community Legislation section, which is based on the CELEX database of the European Union, includes in full text in Greek all EU Instructions and Regulations, as well as the rulings of the Court of Justice of the European Communities. It is worth noting that the search engine for the Community Legislation has evolved and now offers many new options and capabilities, such as the Compliance of the Greek Legislation with the Community Legislation and the amendments of instructions and regulations by newer ones.
NOMOS also provides user training and support, as well as a legal forum, through which the 30.000 subscribed users have the opportunity to exchange thoughts and seek answers to legal issues that they face. NOMOS has also created the specialised legal databases Notaries Review, Tax Review and TCG/NOMOS that are addressed to notaries, tax officers & tax accountants and engineers & technicians, respectively.
