On January 23rd 2008, commenting on the potential acquisition of the gaming company William Hill by OPAP SA, Mr. Christos Hadjiemmanuil, Chairman and CEO of the Company, stated at Reuters and Dowjones News agencies, that currently OPAP SA is not considering a bid for the acquisition of the UK company William Hill plc as well as that OPAP's management is currently focusing on the company's reengineering, following which, we will assess any business opportunity.
