Altec in roadshow in London

In the context of a broader communication plan with the international community of institutional investors, ALTEC SA participated in a roadshow organized by UBS on January 25th in London. During the roadshow, the Company's Management came in contact with institutional investors and presented the Group's strategy and growth prospects in the information technology sector, in telecoms and with regard to the Company's retail telecom services network of stores.
Investors expressed strong interest on the Company's growth in the information technology sector and recognized the tremendous business opportunity that has arisen in the SE European market especially after several countries joined the European Union. ALTEC is active in software sales and IT system integration in the markets of Rumania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Serbia and Montenegro. The Company also contemplates its entrance in other markets of SE Europe. ALTEC holds a leading position in Greece, servicing more than 65,000 Greek enterprises and more than 280,000 users.
During the meetings, the Management presented the business growth model of Altec Telecoms, which has formed a subscriber base of more than 130,000 people in voice related products, broadband services and VoIP telephony. It was also underlined that the new privately owned telecom network (ULL) represents an especially promising business opportunity because the Company will effectively cut operating costs in provision of telecom services whereas it will be able to maximize benefits from the extended client base it currently possesses.
Finally, special emphasis was placed on the activities of Microland, which is the largest independent retail telecom services network of stores in Greece. The company targets a network of more than 100 stores by the end of 2008, with 100 additional stores scheduled to operate by the end of 2010.
