Petros Lefkovits is the new CEO of COSMOFON, COSMOTE Group subsidiary in FYROM. Mr. Stefanos Oktapodas holding todate both COSMOFON and AMC CEO positions, continues with his responsibilities in AMC, COSMOTE?s subsidiary in Albania, while he remains as COSMOFON BoD member.
Mr. Petros Lefkovits began his career in Coca Cola Group 3E UK. Later, he joined Reckitt & Colman, as Group Product Manager, as well as GERMANOS Group of Companies, heading its Mobile Business Unit. In 1996 he was appointed Commercial Director of Ericsson Hellas, while in 2001 he rejoined GERMANOS Group as Strategic Development Director. In August 2002, he assumed the position of Samsung Electronics CEO in Greece. In 2004, Mr. Lefkovits was nominated Manager of the Year in the Leaders of the Year Greek Annual Awards.
Mr. Lefkovits holds a BSc in Business Administration & Marketing from the Lancashire University, UK, and an MBA from Bradford University. He is 48 years old, married with three children.
Mr. Michael Tsamaz, COSMOTE's Deputy CEO, thanked Mr. Oktapodas for his valuable contribution in COSMOFON's significant growth and wished him success in continuing to create value for AMC. Mr. Tsamaz also wished Mr. Lefkovits every success in his future duties.
