Proton Bank S.A. (hereafter the 'Bank') hereby announces, in compliance with the provisions of article 10 of L. 3340/2005 in combination with the provisions of article 2 of 3/347/12.07.2005 Decision of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Capital Market Committee, and due to L. 3556/2007 (article 3 (ist), (bb) and article 21) in combination with article 11 of 1/434/03.07.2007 Decision of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Capital Market Committee, following its earlier notification of 17.10.2007 on the commencement of merger procedures by absorption of its 100% subsidiary company under the corporate name 'PROTON SOCIETE ANONYME PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ADVICE, TECHNOLOGY AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS' (hereafter 'PROTON FINANCE'), that on February 6th, 2008 the Ministry of Development of Greece (Ref: K2 1690) approved the merger by absorption of its 100% subsidiary company PROTON FINANCE by the Bank.
