The societe anonyme under the name MYTILINEOS S.A. - GROUP OF COMPANIES hereby announces pursuant to law 3556/2007 and upon a relevant notice from its shareholder MORGAN STANLEY & CO INTERNATIONAL PLC that, on March 12th 2008, the indirect participation of MORGAN STANLEY & CO INTERNATIONAL PLC in the share capital and voting rights of MYTILINEOS S.A. - GROUP OF COMPANIES was increased from 5.002% (i.e. 5,851,906 voting rights) to 4.976% (i.e. 5,822,156 voting rights).
