In accordance with the provisions of Greek Law L. 3556/2007 'Transparency requirements in relation to information about issuers whose securities are admitted to trading' and the Decision 1/434/03.07.2007 of the Greek Capital Market Commission, Bank of Cyprus announces that, for the purpose of calculating the significance of a purchase or sale of participation in Bank of Cyprus shares, the share capital of the Bank as of today, 1 February 2008, amounts to euro 566.223.083 divided into 566.223.083 ordinary shares of a nominal value of euro 1,00 each.
