Announcement.
In response to the 3948/01.02.2008 Athens Exchange letter, regarding recent references on web portals for the sale of participation of NEOCHIMIKI L.V. LAVRENTIADIS S.A., of the major shareholder Mr Lavrentios Lavrentiadis, the Company informs the investment community that Mr Lavrentios Lavrentiadis with his letter dated 01.02.2008 he informed the Company that at times he has received offers for the sale of his participation in the Company as well as for strategic cooperation regarding the Company, however no decision has been taken on this matter until today.
Mr Lavrentios Lavrentiadis' line of decision making always takes into consideration the ongoing normal flow of operations of the Company as well as the employees and the shareholders best interest. Finally, in case of significant information that should be released pursuant to the Stock Exchange regulation, he will inform in the appropriate manner the Company and hence the investment community, as he has done until today.
