 Reply to the Hellenic Capital Markets Commission letter

In response to a relevant question from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (dated 23-05-2014), the company GR. SARANTIS S.A. does not confirm the article titled “Sarantis: In advanced discussions for a deal” that was published at the website “euro2day.gr” on 23/05/2014.

With respect to acquisitions, which constitute an important pillar of growth that attracts the Group's interest as part of its strategic expansion, the Group's management notes that, as is usually the case, detailed announcements will be made when any negotiations are at an advanced stage.
