TERNA ENERGY signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Sinohydro
Corporation and Industrial & Commercial Bank of China

Athens, June 19th, 2014:  TERNA ENERGY, member of GEK TERNA Group, Sinohydro Corporation and Industrial & Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding, today in Athens, Greece.

The Tripartite Cooperation Framework Agreement was signed during the commercial contracts signing ceremony that took place in the framework of the official visit of the Prime Minister of China Mr. Li Keqiang in Greece.

The MoU covers a partnership between the three Companies on investments in the Renewable Power sector in Greece. The first project under consideration is the “Amari Hybrid Scheme”, a Power Complex inCreteIsland, which combines wind and hydro operation for guaranteed capacity and electrical energy production.

TERNA ENERGY holds a leading position in the RES sector inGreece. The Group's total installed capacity amounts to 580 MW. The Group has 338 MW installed inGreece, 138 MW in theUSA, 74 MW inPolandand 30 MW inBulgaria. At the same time, TERNA ENERGY has RES installations currently under construction or ready for construction with a capacity of 285 MW inGreeceand abroad.
