AB LAUNCHES A NEW TYPE OF STORE
AB, in the frame of its dynamic commercial policy, with an important role in the continuously altering conditions of the Greek market aiming primarily to satisfy customer needs, announces the further growth of its sales network by creating a new type of store. The new innovative store will bear the banner "Lion Food Stores" combining low prices in a wide range of high quality products, a pioneering layout, high standards of hygiene and food safety as well as it will be based on the use of simple and friendly consumer technology.
This particular type of store is approximately 900-1000 square meters and will be offering 3.000 basic products at very low prices. The quality of the products will be high and the variety will include both branded and AB private label products under the brands "365" and "Care".
The first pilot stores will be launched in main capitals of the Greek province by the end of 2008 and, depending on the clients' response, this new type of store will be further expanded in other areas inside and outside of Greece.
