MYTILINEOS HOLDINGS S.A., in accordance with article 16 of Law 2190/1920, as in force, and following the relevant resolutions of the Extraordinary General Meeting of its Shareholders of 07.12.2007 and of the Meeting of its Board of Directors of 07.12.2007, respectively, and in implementation of article 4 par. 4 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 2273/2003, and further to the company announcement of 02.09.2008, announces that on 10.09.2008 it proceeded to the acquisition of owned shares as follows:
1. Through the stock exchange member "EFG EUROBANK Securities S.A.", the Company acquired 50,000 shares of a total value of euros 399,304.04 at an average acquisition price of euros 7.99 per share.
2. Through the stock exchange member "NATIONAL P&K Securities S.A.", the Company acquired 46.500 shares of a total value of euros 369,135.80 at an average acquisition price of euros 8.03 per share.
The above purchased shares correspond to 46.94% of the average daily volume of transactions, as such volume is specified under article 5 par. 4 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 2273/2003.
