MICHANIKI S.A. announces pursuant to article 14 of L. 3556/2007 and following notification received on October 20th 2008 by SMALLCAP World Fund Inc., that on October 13th 2008, the said company proceeded to the sale of MICHANIKI shares, as a result of which, the total number of voting rights dropped below 5.00%. More specifically, while the total number of shares prior to the trading day when the transaction took place where amounted at 3,456,441 shares (or 5.16% of total voting rights) now the aforementioned company holds 3,276,441 shares or 4.8948% of total voting rights.
