State Council rejects application by "PROMETHEUS GAS" and "DAMCO ENERGY"
Chamber B (Summer Session) of the State Council has rejected the application lodged by Kopelouzos Group companies PROMETHEUS GAS and DAMCO ENERGY S.A. for an interim order to suspend enforcement of the decisions of the Minister of Development concerning the modification of the production licences held by "Aluminium of Greece S.A.", a MYTILINEOS Group subsidiary, for the cogeneration plant in Agios Nikolaos (Viotia) and their transfer to "Aluminium S.A.".
After the above rejection, commissioning activities for the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Station of ENDESA HELLAS are continuing without problems, and the entire unit is expected to enter into commercial operation during September.
