With reference to an article published in the electronic press of September 30th 2008 and following a letter of the Athens Stock Exchange on this issue, the Management of M.J. MAILLIS SA issued the following statement:
As we have already communicated publicly, we are currently in negotiations with our banks and bond holders for the restructuring of the Group's debt. The Management of the Group will proceed with an official public announcement as soon as these negotiations are concluded.
