Following its previous announcements, "EMPORIKI BANK OF GREECE S.A.", as Societe Anonyme, listed in the Athens Stock Exchange, announces - according to Article 10, paragraph 1, of the Law 3340/2005 and to the article 2, paragraph 2, of the Decision No 3/347/12.07.05 issued by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission - that on October 10, 2008, the procedure of transferring 3.400.000 shares of the company "EMPORIKI LEASING S.A." by "EMPORIKI BANK OF GREECE S.A." to the company "CREDIT AGRICOLE LEASING S.A." (participation percentage of 20%) was completed for a total consideration of euro 11.016 thous.
Consequently, "EMPORIKI BANK OF GREECE S.A." owns 13.600.000 shares of "EMPORIKI LEASING S.A." which represent the 80% of the total share Capital of the said company.
Αccording to the agreement signed by both parties, "CREDIT AGRICOLE LEASING S.A." has the right, within two years from the transfer date of 20%, i.e. until 31.12.2010, either to acquire an additional percentage up to 30% of "EMPORIKI LEASING S.A." share capital, or to resell to "EMPORIKI BANK OF GREECE S.A." the percentage of 20% acquired by the same as above.
