Euromedica S.A. hereby informs its shareholders and investing public that "Euromedica-Galinos M.S.A.", in which Euromedica S.A. holds a 45% interest and which runs a nuclear medicine centre in Trikala, has established a new societe anonyme registered as "Euromedica TRIKALON M.S.A.", which is based in Trikala and whose scope involves the running of a medical centre in the town of Trikala. The new company was established through the conversion of a radiologist's private establishment, with a capital of 300,000 euros. "Euromedica-Galinos M.S.A." holds a 49% interest, whereas the remaining 51% is held by the said radiologist.
The new company has leased premises covering 300 sq. m., in which a complete medical centre including all relevant departments shall be established through the expansion of the existing facility.
Following the above investment, the Euromedica Group will run 8 medical centres in Thessaly (3 in Volos, 2 in Larissa, 2 in Trikala and 1 in Karditsa). The Euromedica Group has now increased the total number of medical centres in its network to 54. It currently owns 20 medical centres in Attica (two of which are soon to commence operation), 7 in Thessaloniki, plus the EUROGENETICA laboratory, 2 in Crete, 3 in Volos, 2 in Larissa, 2 in Serres (the one has not yet commenced operation), 2 in Trikala and one in each of the following cities: Ptolemaida, Kozani, Alexandroupoli, Corinth, Mytilene, Katerini, Kastoria, Kavala, Corfu, Didymoteicho, Grevena and Karditsa, as well as three in Albania. Furthermore, the Euromedica Group has 16 clinics and 9 rehabilitation centres nationwide (6 of which are in the construction phase).
Overall, the medical units of the group that are in operation or under construction currently amount to 79.
