IASO SA, according to article 2 of the HCMC decision no 5/204/14.11.2000, as applicable, and regarding the press publication in the newspaper TO PARASKINIO, on 27th February 2009 in the fifteenth page and the press publication in the newspaper AXIA, on 28th February 2009 in the fifth page, titled IASO: Negotiations with REA and , informs the investors that there has been no decision taken by the Management of the Company, regarding the prospective of participation in the shares of RΕΑ or the takeover of the clinic RΕΑ. Moreover, no offer for the purchase of shares of the above-mentioned clinic has been made and the Company has taken no action in order to collect shareholders authorisations so as to control the majority of the share capital, as wrongly reported in the above-mentioned publications.
If any relevant decision will be taken, the Company will promptly proceed to the issuance of a formal announcement, as required by the applicable legislation, the decisions and regulations of the Hellenic Capital Commission and the Athens Stock Exchange.
Furthermore, the Company denies categorically the first of the above-mentioned publications regarding its relation with MIG, as there is no collaboration or relationship of any kind between the Company and the above-mentioned group.
In every case, the Company studies and adjusts its business plan on a continuous basis, always aiming at the achievement of better performance for its shareholders. In this context, the Company searches, analyzes and evaluates opportunities of growth and collaboration in the health care sector, but proceeds in announcements to the investors only when a plan or an agreement is definite.
