MYTILINEOS HOLDINGS S.A., in accordance with article 16 of Law 2190/1920, as in force, and following the relevant resolutions of the Extraordinary General Meeting of its Shareholders of 07.12.2007 and of the Meeting of its Board of Directors of 07.12.2007, respectively, and in implementation of article 4 par. 4 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 2273/2003, and further to the company announcement of 06.03.2009, announces that on 13.03.2009 it proceeded to the acquisition of owned shares as follows:
1. Through the stock exchange member "INVESTMENT BANK OF GREECE S.A.", the Company acquired 70.000 shares of a total value of euros 254,934.47 at an average acquisition price of euros 3.64 per share.
The above purchased shares correspond to 25.02% of the average daily volume of transactions, as such volume is specified under article 5 par. 4 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 2273/2003.
