Announcement.
MARFIN INVESTMENT GROUP HOLDINGS SA hereby announces that it has taken knowledge of the Press Release of the Minister of Development Kostis Chadjidakis following the meeting of the Interministerial Committee for Denationalizations held on 11.3.2009 in respect of Olympic Aviation and refers to the following excerpt thereof:
" ... The Interministerial Committee for Denationalizations has decided to approve the report of the financial and legal advisors of the Government, which as you know had been endorsed by the Supervising Commissioner, regarding the contracts for the denationalization of two of the three companies related to Olympic Aviation, notably the Flying Operations and the Technical Base. To be more specific, for each company a sale and purchase of shares agreement and a shareholders' agreement will be concluded in respect of the transitional period.
As you know, the negotiations in respect of the third company - Ground Handling Services - continue. At present there are exclusive negotiations with Swissport. If a positive outcome is to ensue, this will become known by Friday afternoon, otherwise we have MIG's commitment that it will acquire this company as well.
The Interministerial Committee officially decided that, upon conclusion of all agreements, these will be brought before the Parliament for ratification in order to be vested with the validity of a law of the state. ... "
