Euromedica S.A. hereby informs its shareholders and the investing public that it has acquired 49% of "AXONIKI DIAGNOSI SA", that operates a Medical Center in Thessaloniki, at a price of 410,000 euros, and intends to acquire the remaining shares of the company based on the legal framework governing companies operating medical centers.
Through the above mentioned acquisition, EUROMEDICA group increases the total number of the medical centers in its network to 53; 20 in Attica (two of which are due to enter into operation soon), 7 in Thessaloniki in addition to the EUROGENETIKI laboratory, 2 in Crete, 3 in Volos, 2 in Larissa, 2 in Serres (one of which is due to enter into operation soon), and one in each of the following cities: Ptolemaida, Kozani, Alexandroupoli, Trikala, Corinth, Mytilini, Katerini, Kastoria, Kavala, Corfu, Didymoticho, Grevena and Karditsa, along with three medical centers in Albania.
In addition, at a transnational level, EUROMEDICA group currently owns 15 hospitals and two rehabilitation centers that are currently in operation, along with one hospital and four rehabilitation centers under construction. The total number of EUROMEDICA?s medical units is 75.
