Pursuant to the provisions of article 24 par. 2 (a) of Law 3461/2006, as in force, and following the submission, on October 14th, 2008 of the obligatory tender offer by GRIMALDI COMPAGNIA DI NAVIGAZIONE S.p.A. for the acquisition of the outstanding shares of MINOAN LINES SHIPPING S.A. not held by GRIMALDI COMPAGNIA DI NAVIGAZIONE S.p.A. directly or indirectly and following the announcements already made by GRIMALDI COMPAGNIA DI NAVIGAZIONE S.p.A. on October 15th, 2008, October 16th, 2008, October 17th, 2008, October 20th, 2008, October 21st, 2008, October 22nd, 2008, October 23rd, 2008, October 24th, 2008, October 27th, 2008, October 28th, 2008, October 30th, 2008, October 31st, 2008, November 5th, 2008, November 7th, 2008, November 11th, 2008, November 12th, 2008 and November 13th, 2008 pursuant to article 24 par. 2 (a) of Law 3461/2006, GRIMALDI COMPAGNIA DI NAVIGAZIONE S.p.A. announces pursuant to article 24 par. 2 (a) of Law 3461/2006 the following:
On November 12th, 2008 (date of acquisition of shares pursuant to the previous official announcement) GRIMALDI COMPAGNIA DI NAVIGAZIONE S.p.A. held 25.757.411 common shares of MINOAN LINES SHIPPING S.A., corresponding to a percentage of 36,32% of MINOAN LINES SHIPPING S.A.'s paid up share capital and voting rights. On November 13th, 2008 GRIMALDI COMPAGNIA DI NAVIGAZIONE S.p.A. acquired through the ATHEX 86.249 common shares in MINOAN LINES SHIPPING S.A. corresponding to a percentage of 0,12% of MINOAN LINES SHIPPING S.A.'s paid up share capital and voting rights.
As a consequence, GRIMALDI COMPAGNIA DI NAVIGAZIONE S.p.A. now holds 25.843.660 common shares of MINOAN LINES SHIPPING S.A. corresponding to a percentage of 36,44% of MINOAN LINES S.A.'s paid up share capital and voting rights.
The acquisition price of the above 86.249 shares was 5,16 Euros per share, that is in total 445.044,84 Euros.
