A) THE INFORMATION MEMORANDUM FOR THE MERGER OF ATTICA HOLDINGS S.A. AND BLUE STAR MARITIME S.A. WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE ON MONDAY 22nd DECEMBER 2008
B) ESTIMATED LAST TRADING DAY OF THE SHARES OF BLUE STAR MARITIME S.A.: 23.12.2008
ATTICA HOLDINGS S.A. (the Company) announces that on 19.12.2008, the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission reviewed the contents of the Information Memorandum (the Merger Document) of article 4 of L.3401/2005 for the capital increase of ATTICA HOLDINGS S.A. due to the merger by absorption of BLUE STAR MARITIME S.A. by the Company.
The Merger Document will be available to the investment community as of 22.12.2008 at the websites of the companies www.attica-group.com and www.bluestarferries.com as well as through the website of the Athens Exchange, www.ase.gr. Printed copies of the Merger Document can be requested at the Company's head office (123-125, Syngrou Avenue & 3, Torva Street, 11745 Athens, tel. +30 210 8919180 attn: Mr Economou and Mr Karystinos).
The Company will announce in due course the dates of the approval of the Merger by the Ministry of Development, the last trading day of the shares of BLUE STAR MARITIME S.A. and the date of the commencement of trading of the Company's new shares. Under the condition that the approval of the Merger will be given by the competent authorities in due time, as stated in the Merger Document, the last trading day of the shares of the absorbed company BLUE STAR MARITIME S.A. will be Tuesday, 23rd December 2008.
