SPRIDER STORE Dafni, Attica was set on fire on Sunday, March 8, 2009 just after midnight, as a result of an arson attack by unidentified individuals. As a consequence the store was totally destroyed. The case has been undertaken by the Greek justice.
SPRIDER STORE Dafni was insured, concerning fixed assets involved as well as merchandise placed within the store. SPRIDER STORES Group intends to re - operate the store as soon as possible. The reconstruction works will begin soon and are expected to be concluded within the next two months.
As far as it concerns the impact of this incident on the Group's earnings and financial standing, it is not expected to be significant, given that the store contributes approximately 1.9% to overall consolidated sales.
The Group will promptly inform investors, with another press release for any further development.
