The company VIOHALCO, HELLENIC COPPER AND ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY, S.A., listed in the Athens Exchange, (the "Issuer") announces to the investors that, following a relevant application of the company MERIT SECURITIES, the Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange, through its resolution dated 11/12/2008, approved that the company MERIT SECURITIES could continue to act in its capacity as Market Maker of the "Issuer's" shares for one (1) more year, until 12/12/2009.
