ELBISCO S.A. HOLDING announces, in accordance with the provisions of Law 3556/2007 in combination with Rule 1/434/3.7.2007 and Circular Nr 33 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, that on December 16th 2008, the Chairman of the company's Board of Directors, Mr. Kiriakos Filippou (bound person according to article 13 of Law 3340/2005), bought six hundred and ten thousand (610,000) common shares of the Company of total value five hundred thousand and two hundred euros (euro 500,200.00.) Mr. Filippou bought these shares from the company AGAN S.A. (related legal entity) in which he holds the majority of voting rights. After the completion of the above transaction, AGAN's S.A. participation rate was reduced to 13.04% from 14.17% of the total shares and voting rights while the direct participation rate of Mr. Filippou increased to 3.51% from 2.37% of the total shares and to 2.12% from 0.99% of the total voting rights.
