Corporate Presentation to the Institutional Investors' Association
In the context of informing investors through planned corporate presentations, Euromedica SA would like to inform the investing public that, on Wednesday 28 January 2009, Euromedica Group made a presentation to the Institutional Investors' Association, presented by Mr A. Terzopoulos - President of the Group, I Bletsos - CEO, G. Stamatakis - IRO of the Group and E. Takouda - CFO.
During the presentation, there were analyzed the published results of the Euromedica Group and the future goals were reported, namely the further development in primary and secondary health, the enhancement of the Group's presence abroad, the further development in the sector of rehabilitation centres along with the psychiatric sector, the expansion to elderly care units and also the expansion of the cooperation and holdings of the subsidiary Europrocurement in commercial companies.
In the context of the Group's development in the broader secondary health sector, the process for the creation of a 173-bed Oncology Hospital in Thessaloniki, in collaboration with medical doctors, has started.
The General Ionian Hospital in Corfu, with a capacity of 114 beds, is currently under construction, in collaboration with medical doctors, as is the Euromedica Arogi Rehabilitation Centre in Thessaloniki, with a capacity of 194 beds.
Additionally, a 40-bed Rehabilitation Centre in Karditsa is under construction, while the procedures for setting up three other rehabilitation centres in Kavala, Kozani and Athens are underway.
Today the Euromedica Group comprises a network of 79 units: 54 medical centres, 16 hospitals and 9 rehabilitation centres.
