The Board of Directors of Erricos Dynan unanimously voted in favour of a long term cooperation with Athens Medical Center for the operation of a maternity clinic which is going to be located within the main building of the Erricos Dynan Hospital
More specifically the full control and operation of the clinic will be assumed by the 100% subsidiary of the Athens Medical Center "Maternity Clinic Gaia"
The maternity clinic will have a capacity of 147 patient beds, including an Intensive Care Unit of 6 beds, an intensive care unit for infants of 12 beds and a one day clinic of 25 beds. Additionally the unit will have 7 operating theaters and 17 labor theaters. The new unit will commence operations in three months from today. The unit will offer high quality medical services and will cooperate with highly reputable medical doctors
This clinic will include apart from modern surgery and maternity unit, highly specialized units like breast department, IVF unit, oncology clinic for women, genetic molecular biology unit, chemotherapy unit, cosmetic plastic surgery unit etc.
Through this agreement Erricos Dynan will expand further its offered services as number of beds will be allocated to hospitalization of the poor as instructed by the Greek Red Cross. Athens Medical Center on the other hand will expand it operations entering the maternity business in Athens as well.
