SingularLogic Group has successfully completed the project ''Municipal Internet Portals Western & Southern Greece - Sub-project 4'' worth a total value of 5.999.699 euros (including VAT), that was undertaken on behalf of the Ministry of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralization (YPESDDA) and concerned 101 participating Municipalities of Western and Southern Greece, with a population under 20.000 residents.
Specifically, the project included the development of 101 Municipal Web Portals through which the participating municipalities would provide information on their location and activity, but also the activation of on line electronic services for citizens and businesses. Also, the project included the establishment of appropriate infrastructure conditions for each of the participating municipalities, through the supply of basic equipment and the development of structured cabling for interconnecting to ''Syzefxis''.
Τhe end result of the project is for the participating municipalities to have information services on issues regarding the economic development and employment of the territory, the cultural and educational aspects, the environment and daily lives, the decisions of municipal councils and the internal organization of local authorities. At the same time, through web portals municipalities have on line electronic services for citizens, such us: electronic submission of applications for certificates of municipal roll and real property tax, information to beneficiaries on payment deeds, requests and complaints from citizens and electronic payment of traffic fines and municipal tax.
The project was completed with success, according to the budget and the timetable of implementation.
