Following a relevant query received from the Hellenic Capital Market Committee (protocol number 226 on 1/20/2009), Frigoglass announces additional information related to the press release dated 20th of January 2009 and was published on the Daily Official List of the Athens Stock Exchange.
The Polish plant's contribution to total Cool operations production was 8.5% for the period from 1/1/2008 to 30/9/2008, while the Norwegian plant?s contribution was 1% of the total production during the same period.
The estimated cost for the closure of the Polish plant comes to euro 2.9 million while the corresponding amount for the Norwegian plant will be euro 1.6million; the above one off costs will affect the financial results of full year 2008.
The downsizing of the headcount related to both of the above plants is expected to reach 355 people while will be completed by the end of June 2009.
