Following the decision of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of 12.1.2009 where the election of the Greek State, duly represented, as a new member of the Board of Directors of the Bank was approved and the decision of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of 5.3.2009, where Mr. George I. Mergos was appointed Greek State representative in accordance with Law 3723/2008, the Board of Directors of Alpha Bank was constituted into a Body at its meeting of 31.3.2009.
