Introduction for trading of the convertible bond loan and invitation for the dematerialization of the bond certificates.

NIREUS SA announces that the BoD of the Athens Exchange approved, on 19.03.2009, the introduction for trading of the company's 1,946,589 new common registered bonds, with par value euro 9.77, that were issued following the decisions of the 1st Repetitive Extraordinary General Assembly of 11.4.2007.
Date for the commencement of trading of the new bonds in the Athens Exchange: Friday, 27 March 2009.

The bonds have been originally issued in certificates and must be dematerialized in order to commence trading. The Bondholders are invited to contact EFG Eurobank Ergasias, Shareholders Registrar Department, 8 Iolkou & Filikis Etairias Street , Building A, 142 34 Athens, tel. : +30 210 35 23 300, between 9:30 am and 14 p.m. to apply for the dematerialization of their bonds.
The required documents for the dematerialization of the bond certificates are:
1.The bond certificates
2.A copy of the Dematerialised Securities System ("DSS") data record
3.The official Identity Card.
The new dematerialized bonds will be credited in the DSS accounts of the bondholders as of the date of the commencement of trading.
The bonds not delivered for dematerialization at the date of the commencement of trading will be credited in the special account of DSS. Bondholders may request the dematerialization of their bonds after the date of the commencement of trading in the Athens Exchange.
Also, the bond certificates must be dematerialized before they are converted to shares.
