In accordance with article 4, par. 4 of Regulation 2273/2003 of the Committee of European Union, "Sciens International Investments and Holding S.A." announces that following the resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders dated February 05, 2008 and the Board of Directors' resolutions dated March 5, 2008 and September 30, 2008, and in accordance with article 16 of L. 2190/1920, during the period from 15.07.2009 to 21.07.2009 acquired in total 44,025 own shares through "MERIT Securities A.E.P.E.Y." at the average purchase price of euro 0.59 per share and total value of the transaction of euro 26,171.10.
