AGRICULTURAL BANK OF GREECE S.A. announces that, the Board of Directors, in its meeting on 21.5.2009, certified the full payment of the increase in the Bank's share capital by euro 675,000,000, which was decided by the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on 12.1.2009, in accordance with article 1 of L.3723/2008, through the issue of redeemable non-voting 937,500,000 preference shares, subscribed to and fully paid by the Greek State with bonds it has issued of equivalent value.
