In accordance with article 4, par. 4 of Regulation 2273/2003 of the Commission of European Union, "Sciens International Investments and Holdings S.A." announces that following the resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders dated February 05, 2008 and the Board of Directors' resolutions dated March 5, 2008 and September 30, 2008, and in accordance with article 16 of L. 2190/1920, during the trading session of 12.05.2009 acquired 12,000 own shares through "MERIT Securities A.E.P.E.Y." at the price of euro 0.65 per share and the total value of the transaction amounted to euro 7,824.00.
