UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE GOES TO NOVA UNTIL 2012
According to Law 3340/2005 and the decisions 3/347/2005 and 5/204/2000 of the Board of Directors of the Capital Market Commission, as in force and paragraphs 4.1.3.1. point e) and 4.1.3.6. of the Rule Book of the Athens Exchange, Forthnet S.Α. (hereafter the "Company" or "Forthnet") confirms the following:
1) The affiliated with Forthnet company "NetMed Hellas" announced on 8/04/2009 the acquisition of the TV rights of UEFA Europa League (formerly branded as UEFA Cup) for the three-year period 2009-10, 2010-11 and 2011-12.
2) More specifically the agreement between NetMed Hellas and UEFA, for the three-year period 2009-2012, includes every Thursday the direct broadcast of the 180 out of a total of 205 games of the Institution from the phase of Group Stage to the Semi Finals, apart from the two games of first and second choice. The projection of snapshots of all games will take place through special broadcasts before the commencement and after the termination of the games.
3) In addition, the Novasports channels have acquired the right of videotaped broadcasting of all 205 games of the Institution.
