HELLENIC DUTY FREE SHOPS S.A. announces that, in accordance with article 4 par. 4 of the 2273/2003 Regulation of the EU Committee and the article 16 par. 5 of the law 2190/1920, following the decisions of its Extraordinary General Assembly, dated on 06.10.2008, and its Board of Directors, dated on 17.12.2008, during the period 01.01.2009 and 31.03.2009, acquired 35,926 own shares, representing 0.0682% of its issued share capital, for an average price of euro 5.67 per share, of total value euro 203,874.11, through the ASE member N. KOMNINOS Securities S.A. In total the Company holds 704,650 shares representing 1.3377% of its issued share capital.
