In accordance with article 16 of the law 2190/1920 the Board of Directors of the Company HELLENIC DUTY FREE SHOPS S.A. announces that, following the decision of the Company's Extraordinary General Assembly on 06.10.2008, intends to acquire up to 900,000 own shares, or up to 1.709% of the issued capital, during the period 01.04.2009 and 30.06.2009 for a lowest price of euro 5.0 and a highest price of euro 20.0. Considering also the low liquidity of the share, it might exceed the limit of 25% of the average daily volume, as such volume is specified under paragraph 2 of article 5 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 2273/2003. The potential deviation shall in no case exceed 50% of the daily volume, as such volume is specified by the above-mentioned article.
