MYTILINEOS HOLDINGS SA, in reply to the letter of the Capital Market Committee with ref. no. 2421/15.06.2009 regarding a publication made in the newspaper "TO VIMA" of 14.06.2009, would like to inform that in what concerns matters regarding the business activities, the prospects and/or the progress of partnerships and alliances between the Group?s holding company and its subsidiaries, the Group's standing practice is to make official announcements to the investing community and to the regulatory authorities, in accordance with the Athens Exchange Regulation and with the applicable legislation laying down the obligations of listed companies.
The above also apply to any comments on the aforementioned publication regarding "the developments in the relations between Mytilineos - Endesa", in connection with which the Management of the Group will proceed to the appropriate announcements, should an event occur whose disclosure is required in accordance with the Athens Exchange Regulation and the applicable legislation.
